Beam propagation factor of Hollow higher-order Cosh-Gaussian beams

چکیده

Based on the second-order moments definition, beam propagation factor of a new mathematical model Hollow higher-order Cosh-Gaussian (HhCG) beams is investigated. Analytical formula for M2-factor HhCG derived, which depends hollowness parameter l, order n, cosh part δ and waist ω0. The influences these parameters are illustrated with numerical examples. result provides more general characteristics because Cosh-Gaussian, Gaussian obtained as specials cases beams.

We outline a theory for the calculation of the beam quality factor of an aberrated laser beam. We provide closed-form equations that show that the beam quality factor of an aberrated Gaussian beam depends on all primary aberrations except tilt, defocus, and x-astigmatism.
